Recent Fun Finds

I have been starting my back to school shopping and have found some great things for this upcoming school year.  I wanted to share some of those finds with you!

Composition Books

I bought these last year also for 50 cents.  Can't beat that.  This year I'll be teaching Kindergarten so I'm still thinking of ways to use them.  I know I want to cut them in half but that's about it for now.

Gift Goodies

I bought some school supplies at the Dollar Store and WalMart for a gifts I'm creating.

Bubbles

I got these bubble packs for one dollar a pack at the Dollar Store.  I'm using them as a back to school student gift that I'll blog about later.  I guess I forgot to take a picture.

Crazy Straws

These were also just a dollar a set at the Dollar Store.  These will be used as birthday gifts for my students.  I'll blog the finished project another day.

Paint Sticks

I went to the local Sherwin Williams store and politely asked if I could have around 35 paint sticks.  The man gave me a bag full!  I'll be using these as library sticks since my Kinders won't be able to read (gasp!) and therefore won't be able to put their books back where they belong.

I'm looking forward to linking up some projects on Tara's next Monday Made It!

Monday Made It

After a big MMI hiatus, I am again linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for Monday Made It!

I have also opened up a TPT store!  Very exciting and lots of hard work.  I know many of you know that.  I have been hard at work at creating items for my store.

#1 - Color Picture Sort Pack

#2 - Color Word Search Pack

Be sure to check out all of the projects at 4th Grade Frolics!

My First TPT item, Bloglovin, & Giveaway

I did it.  I joined TpT and created my first product!  I am so excited to join the TpT world, and I am also humbled to be among such brilliant creators of classroom activities and units.  It might take me awhile to get more products listed but I'm hard at work!

Check out my first product here at my TpT store!

If you purchase it, I'd love to get some feedback from you, and to get a rating from you on my TpT store.  Thanks in advance!

Also, remember to start following me with Bloglovin!  The button is on the sidebar to the right!

One more thing..... I'm participating in Kelly's Blogiversary at An Apple for the Teacher!  I'm donating my Word Wall Sets.  Go join her giveaway HERE!

Kindergarten Friends Book

I'm really starting to plan out activities for next year in Kindergarten... at least for the beginning of the year.  I really liked this pin I found....

...... and it inspired me to create a Kindergarten Friends Book for the first week of school.  The plan is to have each student's picture on the left side of each page, and their name printed in the top box, then students will copy their classmates' names on each page in the bottom box to complete their book.  Here's an example.

If you'd like a copy, download it here for free!  I always like to hear what my readers think and know who grabs it, so if you do please leave me a comment and let me know!
