Snow Day!

We have had three SNOW DAYS this week!  I'm sure some of you can relate with this big winter storm going through.  I haven't gotten a call from the district yet tonight, so it looks like we're going back tomorrow.  I have a love/hate relationship with snow days.  I'm just as excited as my kiddos to get them, but now I'm just getting kind of bored.  I need to get into my classroom to be any more productive at home than I've already been.  It's time to go back now.  I have to finish assessments.  I have to finish semester report cards.  I have to get caught up on some things.  But man, do I dread going back.  I'm sure the kids are going to be crazy!

So my plan is do some SNOW DAY activities tomorrow!  Since they'll be excited to share about what they did off school anyway.  I mean I haven't seen my kiddos in 19 days!  It's time to go back.  I made a Snow Day Graphing pack that we'll do tomorrow.  I just posted it in my TpT store.  And it's $1.00 off for the first 24 hours!  So get your copy now before tomorrow evening when it goes back to it's original price!  Click here or on the picture to see the product.

I'll try to post some pictures of my kids working on the graphs in the next few days.

I also recently finished some word work packs.

Have a GREAT week!

I'm Back - Reading Rubric Freebie!

You may have been wondering what happened to me and why I've haven't blogged in two months!  Kindergarten.  Kindergarten happened to me.  I moved from second grade to Kindergarten this school year, and I have been CRAZY BUSY.  I always heard Kindergarten was in a world of it's own, and now I am in that world.  Less grading, more creating.  Less independent reading and writing, more directions. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.  And the list continues.  The good news?  I really am loving it so far.

So in hopes that my readers will forgive me out there... here is a freebie!  I created this Independent Reading Rubric last summer and put it on my blog for free through email.  With this new school year, I have been getting a lot of requests for it, so I decided to spruce it up and offer it for free in my TPT store.

Click on the picture to get your free copy!  Then check out some of my other new products.

Monday Made It

I'm linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for this week's Monday Made It.

#1 - TpT Products

I have been busy creating and adding products to my TpT store.  Click on the pictures to check them out at my store.

#2 - Laundry Room Signs

I created these signs to put up in my laundry room.  I put them in dollar frames and hung them - LOVE how they turned out!

#3 - Gift Pails

I made these as Back to School gifts.  I bought the items from the Dollar Store and WalMart - highlighters, flair pens, post-its, paper clips, hand sanitizer, pens, and notepads.

#4 - Student Birthday Gifts
I saw a lot of these around Pinterest last summer and decided to make them for this upcoming school year.

Binder Covers and Freebie

As I mentioned before, I just started up my TPT store.  Let me tell you, I have so much respect for those of you that have TPT stores and create fabulous products.  It takes a lot of time, energy, and hard work.  I only have a few items on there so far, but am always working on something.

My newest creation is a set of Binder Covers!  This set is blue polka dot themed, and includes 40 different binder covers.  I'm giving this set away to FIVE followers!

Here's what to do:

1. Follow my blog
2. Follow my TPT store
3. Comment below to let me know you're a follower and you'd like the Binder Covers Set, include your email address so I can send them to you!

I will give the first five people who comment (including the steps above) a free set!  If you're not part of the first five, I have a basic set of Binder Covers for free in my store here, or you can purchase the blue Binder Covers set here.

If you're part of the lucky five, I'd love to hear your feedback through email or TPT on what you think about the set!
