Letter Searches!

I've really been wanting to create letter searches for awhile now. I've had a Sight Word Search in my TpT Store for awhile and people have been asking me when I'll have letter searches out.  I finally just sat down and got to it!  I have a Capital Letters set, a Lowercase Letters set, and a Capital and Lowercase Letters BUNDLE now in my store.

Go check them out!

Monday Made It

I'm linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics today to share some of my projects I'm been working on for the last two weeks (I didn't quite get to linking up last week).

We officially go back this Wednesday, then on Friday we have our Meet the Teacher events. With meetings all day Wednesday and Thursday, I don't know how they were thinking we would be ready for Meet the Teacher so I've been slowly going up to school to get things ready and I think I'm about there!

Substitute Report Page.

I really don't know why I've never used one, but I haven't. I've seen them all over Pinterest and have colleagues that use them but never found it necessary, until last year. I feel like I had a bad run with subs last year not following my very detailed plans or not leaving me any notes from the day. So I decided to whip one up to use. I already made several copies and put them in the pocket in my Sub Binder. Ready to go!

Back to school gifts for my Kindergarten team.

I like to get my team something small to welcome everyone back to school and get us off to a good start. I usually buy some things to put together, but I decided to make something this year. Cheaper and easier! So I made this to-do list page, customized them with my teammates names, and sent them to our district office to turn into a pad (they can do projects like this for us - it's awesome).

First Aid Kit.

The nurse gives us a small baggie of first aid stuff at the beginning of the year like bandaids and gloves, but I've never put anything out for student access before. I saw this label at Time 4 Kindergarten during a Monday Made It this summer and decided to snag it and make my own little kit for this year. I only put bandaids in it because that's all my Kinders would need but it'll give me and them better access for those boo-boos that they will inevitably get.

First Day of School sign.

I've been making a first day of school sign for a few years now. This year I decided to put it in a frame for easy handling. You can grab it for FREE for K-2 in my TpT store HERE.

Student Birthday Pencils.

I went the easy route and am doing pencils for student birthdays this year. I have many little things left over from previous years so I decided to be frugal and use all of them for my birthday/holiday student gifts. I made this cute this tag, slit the top and bottom, and put the pencils through. Easy.

Thanks for checking out my projects! And don't forget about the TpT Back to School Sale! Everything in my store is 20% off!

Monday Made It

My first Monday Made It this summer... finally! I'm linking up with 4th Grade Frolics to share some made-its.

First day of school gifts for my Kindergarteners! Our first day isn't until August 11th but I've always got school on my brain and wanted to get something done - one less thing to worry about when I return to school. Plus I did it at home watching TV. These notes are a new FREEBIE in my TpT Store as part of my Summer STEALS.

Next up... Sweet Dreams poem for the night before the first day of school. There's a few versions of this poem going around Pinterest and blogs, and I've posted about it on my blog before. I give these out at Kindergarten Orientation (kind of like Meet the Teacher) for students/families to read the night before the first day of school. Parents seem to love them! I typed it up and attached star confetti in little bags to them.
